Worked on the successful passage in 2007 of a Right-to-Know reform bill after years of grassroots and direct, coalition-driven lobbying while at the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, first as its general counsel and later as its chief operating officer.
Co-founded the Pennsylvania Women’s Forum in 2013, a group that has facilitated important conversations around public policy issues impacting women and their families.
Worked with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to launch Hunger-Free Lancaster County, a coalition whose extraordinary goal is to ensure sustainable access to three healthy meals a day to every resident of Lancaster County by 2018 and which works with the full support of Feeding America.
Collaboration with Pennsylvania Legislative Services and the leaders of all four political caucuses of the Pennsylvania General Assembly to create the Capitol All-Stars, a charity softball game that has raised nearly $200,000 for both statewide hunger-fighting organizations.
Fundraising to preserve the Pennsylvania Governor’s Residence.
Worked to help launch an initiative to position Widener University Commonwealth Law School as the law school of choice for veterans and military families.
